Microsoft Healthcare Icons
Microsoft is one of the most established technology companies in the world, with a design system that has defined its own visual language over decades. For this project, I collaborated with the globally recognized agency Koto to develop a series of 3D icons for Microsoft’s Healthcare division.
Working closely with Koto’s internal design team, I helped translate the initial 2D iconography into a cohesive 3D system. The challenge was not decoration, but precision: maintaining clarity, accessibility, and consistency while adding depth, colour, and dimensionality at scale. The pace was fast and expectations were high, but the collaboration was sharp, focused, and highly rewarding. The result is a robust icon set designed to live comfortably within Microsoft’s design ecosystem while elevating it into three dimensions.
