Behind Descente Outerwear Technology
Descente is a well established performance outdoor brand, recognized for its rigorous material research and highly engineered garment construction. This project focuses on translating that technical depth into clear, high-end visual narratives that communicate how the clothing actually performs.
Working from real textile systems and construction logic, I developed a series of detailed visuals to illustrate key technologies such as thermal regulation, insulation architecture, and adaptive quilting patterns used across Descente outerwear. The objective was not to simplify the technology, but to reveal it. Creating imagery that feels precise, premium, and faithful to the physical behaviour of the materials, while making complex construction principles visually intuitive and engaging.
